The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek continues to consider the criminal case on the June 2010 events. The investigation of the criminal case on the June events was resumed in April 2021. The investigation is underway under the article 'Abuse of official position' of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The case was initiated against officials of the interim government on the fact of facilitating the unhindered illegal departure of the notorious Kadyrzhan Batyrov outside the country, which was one of the reasons that led to tragic consequences in May-June 2010 in the south of the republic.
