Subway service in Seoul that was disrupted partially Wednesday returned to normal Thursday after Seoul Metro unionized workers and management agreed on collective wage negotiations. The company stepped back and vowed not to carry out coercive restructuring planned to improve financial health and partly accepted the union’s request to reinforce safe-related workers. The two also agreed to raise wage by 1.4% from last year when payroll remained unchanged.
