Gas pipelines for the planned LNG liquefied natural gas floating terminal are seen in the port of Brunsbüttel, Germany. Energy giant Qatar Energy has signed an agreement to supply liquefied natural gas to Germany, according to Qatar's energy minister. The gas is to be sold to U.S. company Conoco Phillips, which will deliver it on to Brunsbüttel, he said. The deliveries are to begin in 2026 and run for at least 15 years.
