Korea’s polysilicon producer OCI is breaking up into holding and business entities On Wednesday, the firm held a board meeting to endorse the plan to spin off key chemical businesses into a new business entity. One stock will be eligible for 69% in existing holding entity and 31% in new business entity. The scheme must be approved by shareholders in general meeting in March. Shares fell 5% upon the news.
