According to the Algerian official agency APS, the National Penal, Financial and Economic Pole of the Court of Sidi M'hamed in Algiers, has sentenced on 15 November 2022, the former CEO of Sonatrach, Abdelmoumen Ould Kaddour, to a 15 year prison term and to a fine of one million dinars for legal proceedings related to corruption during the acquisition of a refinery. In the same case, his son and his wife were respectively sentenced to ten and two years in prison and a fine. EPA/STRINGER
