Taliban revealed the burial site of their supreme leader Mullah Omar
epa10292578 The Taliban and their supporters visit the grave of their supreme leader and founder Mullah Mohammed Omar in Zabul, Afghanistan, 07 November 2022. On 06 November the Taliban held a memorial service for Omar, whose death and burial were kept secret for years. After the Taliban lost power in 2001 to a US led invasion, rumors of Omar's health and whereabouts swirled, but he was finally confirmed dead in April 2015 by the Taliban. EPA/STRINGER 1981
