Trot singer Lim Young-woong is back with encore concerts to be held in Seoul and Busan in December.
The encore concert of his national tour "Im Hero," which ended in August, will be held at western Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome on Dec. 10 and 11. This will make him the first trot singer to perform at Gocheok, one of Korea’s largest venues, best known for hosting K-pop idol group concerts.
Sales for the tickets will be made available from Thursday at 8 p.m. via the local ticketing platform Yes24.
The trot singer will also be holding his encore concerts in Busan from Dec. 2 to 4. The tickets for the Busan concert quickly sold out once sales opened last week.
Lim has been a trot sensation since he won TV Chosun’s hit audition show “Mr. Trot” (2020), which revived the music genre in Korea. Trot is extremely popular domestically, particularly among middle-aged and older Koreans.
