Ma Dong-seok, Ye Jung-hwa revealed to have married last year

Actor Ma Dong-seok, also known as Don Lee, was revealed to have tied the knot with his girlfriend Ye Jung-hwa last year, according to the couple's agency Bigpunch entertainment Friday.
The marriage was revealed after Ma Dong-seok described Ye Jung-hwa as his "wife" during his acceptance speech for the Film Artist award at the 12th Beautiful Artist Awards on Thursday.
"Thank you to my colleagues in the film 'The Roundup' and my beloved wife Ye Jung-hwa," Ma said during his acceptance speech.
The couple's agency later confirmed that "Ma Dong-seok and Ye Jung-hwa registered their marriage last year" and that "the two are planning to hold a wedding ceremony later due to their busy schedules."
The couple had been dating publicly since 2016.
Ma Dong-seok's notable films include "Trip to Busan" (2016), "The Outlaws" (2017) and "The Roundup" (2022). He also starred in Marvel Studios' "Eternals" (2021).
Ye Jung-hwa, a model and television personality, appeared on MBC's reality show "My Little Television" (2015).
