Korean entertainment content producer WHYNOT Media that is readying initial public offering (IPO) on the secondary Kosdaq bourse has short listed lead managers after receiving request for proposal (RFP) last week, according to multiple investment bank industry sources on Thursday. The list includes NH Investment & Securities, Mirae Asset Securities, Yuanta Securities, and Shinhan Investment. WHYNOT Media – founded in 2016 – plans to pick manager that propose optimum growth strategy. It completed series C funding round and raised 22 billion won ($15.6 million) in July.
