SK innovation will celebrate its 60th anniversary on Oct. 13 with former and current CEOs at a homecoming event organized by SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, according to sources from the conglomerate circle on Tuesday. This is the first time that the company's CEOs in history come together to celebrate the company¡¯s anniversary. More than 300 guests are expected to attend the even to be held at Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry building in Jung District, central Seoul. SK innovation has its roots to Korea Oil Corporation established in 1962. Sunkyoung Group acquired the company in 1980 and changed name to Yukong and then to SK innovation.
