For months, Haitians have faced a lack of gasoline and paying exorbitant prices on the black market; they survived fuel shortages, violence by armed gangs and now also cholera. The lack of fuel in Haiti affects all sectors: several shopping centers, service companies and hospitals have announced the closure of their doors or have adopted restricted hours, although they promise to return to normal when the problem is resolved.
