The Bank of Korea will issue 9.9 trillion won ($6.9 billion) in monetary stabilization bonds (MSBs) in Oct., up 1.1 trillion won from Sept., the central bank said Thursday. MSBs are short-term security issued by BOK to financial institutions and individuals to control liquidity. BOK will issue more MSBs in Oct. because this month has one more week compared to last month, it said.
