Metaverse developer VA Corporation signed an MOU with the Korea Educational Broadcasting System (EBS) to develop educational metaverse content for children, the companies said Thursday.
The companies will produce not only interactive content tailored to different students but also a new metaverse service using EBS’s expertise in education and VA Corporation’s technology.
As a part of the deal, a talk show program will be produced on how the world could change with new advancements in science and technology. The show will be broadcast by EBS in November.
“We will keep on expanding our metaverse ecosystem in social, economic, cultural and educational fields,” said Kim Dong-eon, CEO of VA Corporation, in a press release.
The company is currently constructing a content production studio in Paju, Gyeonggi, scheduled for completion by next year.
