The increase in gas prices due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine is especially affecting the Czech brewing industry. The rise in prices affects mainly the largest and most energy-intensive companies: 27% of those with more than 500 employees have already started to lay off people, according to data from the Chamber of Commerce.
