Chef Park Jun-seoung of restaurant Logi in Seoul introduces the simplest way to make manduguk, dumpling soup, with a pack of frozen dumplings you can buy all over the world.

Mandu (dumplings) are one of the most common items almost everyone has at home in the freezer. One of the easiest ways to eat mandu is to put them in boiling water, as you don't have to worry about the dough sticking to the pan.

To make an easy Korean meal, all you need is a pack of frozen dumplings and a few standard ingredients. If you want to add a little more texture, feel free to add slices of tteok, or sticky rice cake.

Chef Park Jun-seoung of restaurant Logi in Seoul introduces the simplest way to make manduguk, dumpling soup, with a pack of frozen dumplings you can buy all over the world. Broth can be bought in a packet or made by diluting concentrated anchovy broth in plain water.

Ingredients: One pack of mandu (dumpling), one egg, anchovy broth extract, half an onion and one green pepper

Direction: Slice onion.

Pour 500 milliliters of water into a pot and add the onion slices.

Add two spoons of anchovy broth extract.

Wait until the water comes to a boil.

Put four to five mandu into the pot and boil until it is cooked. Follow the time listed on the pack of mandu.

Break an egg and swirl it with a chopstick. Put the entire egg into the boiling pot and swirl again.

Pour the dumplings and soup into a bowl.

Slice green pepper and put them on top to decorate. Serve and eat.
