Lina Attalah, the founder and editor of Mada Masr in Cairo, Egypt

epa10195267 Egyptian Journalist Lina Attalah, the founder and editor-in-chief of Mada Masr media platform, speaks at her office in Cairo, Egypt, 20 September 2022. Attalah said 'two journalists and I were summoned for questioning by prosecutors; we were supported by the Egyptian Union of Journalism and a representative was present during the investigation. Authorities have raided our office many times before, and the Mada Masr website is blocked inside Egypt, however I still enjoy working from Egypt and I am planning to continue to do so.' Attalah and other reporters at Mada Masr were questioned on 07 September 2022 over charges of 'spreading false news' after they published an article about members of 'Future of a Nation' political party.
