Crew members of plane seized in Argentina return to Venezuela

The 12 crew members of the EMTRASUR cargo plane who were released on Tuesday, after more than three months held in Buenos Aires, arrived in Venezuela this Friday, while seven members of the group and the aircraft remain in Argentina. The plane, operated by Conviasa subsidiary EMTRASUR, was held in Argentina due to Argentinian authorities concerns pertaining to passengers on the plane having links to international terrorism, as well as the US Department of Justice having concerns that the plane violated US export control laws.
