Hyundai Motor released a documentary film titled “For Tomorrow” on Thursday, in celebration of the 77th United Nations General Assembly.

“For Tomorrow” is an actual project being held in collaboration between Hyundai Motor and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) through a business agreement signed in September 2020. The campaign aims to collect intellect from people around the world in order to solve global issues involving transportation, housing and the environment. The project has seen 78 solution proposals from 52 nations over the past two years.

The premiere event for the documentary film about the project takes place at the Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theater in New York.

The film features activist Trina Thi Hong from Vietnam, who uses discarded waste to make soap and detergent, as well as activists in Sierra Leone, Azerbaijan, India and Peru who come up with creative solutions for different problems in their local society.

“As a global brand, we are trying to expand our collaboration of projects that contribute to sustainability,” said an official of Hyundai Motor. “We will continue to support people who come up with solutions for a sustainable society.

The film is narrated by British actor Daisy Ripley and will be available for free on YouTube from Friday. It will also be released through Amazon Prime Video in the United States, Britain, Germany and Canada.
