Yuto of boy band Pentagon tested positive for Covid-19 while in Japan, said his agency Cube Entertainment on Tuesday.
According to Cube, Yuto took a self-test kit on Monday after he showed mild symptoms, which came back positive. He promptly took a PCR test which also came back positive Monday.
Cube added that Yuto has received three doses of a Covid-19 vaccine. He has halted all his activities and is currently in self-quarantine in adherence with Japanese health authorities’ guidelines.
Other members of Pentagon are not showing any symptoms. The boy band will continue its activities without Yuto.
Yuto, who is Japanese, debuted in October 2016 as a member of Pentagon.
