Ex-Girl’s Day member Bang Min-ah, who made a successful transition to acting after the members of the girl group went their separate ways in 2019, will be making a comeback as a singer with a new song “Listen Once.”
According to Yooborn Company, Bang’s agency, on Friday, “Singer and actor Bang Min-ah will be participating as a singer in All-S Entertainment’s project and is gearing up to release a new song.”
The agency said that Bang decided to participate in the project as the producing team at All-S Company, founded by Lee Jong-seok, is the same team that launched Girl’s Day. The song, according to Yooborn Company, expresses a woman’s longing after a breakup.
The song will be released at 6 p.m. on Aug. 28.
Bang debuted as a member of Girl’s Day in 2010. She released her first solo album “I Am a Woman Too” in 2015. Her acting debut was in 2013, when she played a high school student who aspires to be a ballerina in the film “Holly.” Her first leading role on the small screen was in SBS’s romantic comedy series “Beautiful Gong Shim” in 2016.
