Dino of boy band Seventeen tested positive for Covid-19, according to his agency Pledis Entertainment.
“Dino tested positive after a PCR test in Los Angeles on Tuesday,” the agency said. “He has a slight symptom of sore throat and is being cared for while quarantining. The rest of the members have tested negative.”
Seventeen recently kicked off the North American portion of its “Seventeen World Tour [Be The Sun],” which started in Seoul in June. All of the pre-scheduled performances this week in Los Angeles, Houston and the band’s appearance on ABC late-night talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” will go ahead as planned, but without Dino.
Seventeen debuted in 2015 and consists of 13 members: S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon, Woozi, Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, Seungkwan, Hoshi, Jun, The8 and Dino. It has released songs such as “Adore U” (2015), “Don’t Wanna Cry” (2017), “Ready to Love” and “Hot.”
