Shortly after Astory, the production company behind “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” announced the series would be renewed for a second season, EMK Musical Company revealed it would be turning the popular drama into a musical.
EMK Musical Company is a musical production firm that has produced local hits like “Elisabeth,” “Mata Hari” and “The Man Who Laughs.”
“EMK Musical will world premiere the musical version of ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” it announced on its official social media channel on Wednesday.
The webtoon version of the series was created by Naver Webtoon and released on the platform every Wednesday since July 27. It is currently available in Korean but will soon be translated into different languages including English, Japanese and Chinese.
