Korea’s new confirmed cases of Covid-19 recorded 62,078 on Monday, a fall from Sunday’s figure. Monday’s figure was 1.1 times the number from a week earlier, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA).
The number of critically ill patients reached 521, eight times the figure from a month earlier. There were 50 deaths.
The accumulative total of confirmed cases stood at 21,418,036.
