National Women's Day in Tunis

The Sefsari is a traditional feminine veil in silk, cotton or satin worn in the Maghreb. In Tunisia, there are different models of Sefsari which can be very colorful depending on the region, but the most used model is the creamy white one. Tunisia is celebrating on 13 August the National Women's Day which coincides with the 63rd anniversary of the Promulgation of the Personal Status Code which marks the break with archaic practices devaluing Tunisian women.
