BTOB’s Peniel Shin has halted all activities due to an ankle injury, Cube Entertainment said Friday.
Shin was working out on Wednesday night when he ruptured his Achilles tendon and “needs to focus on recovery,” the agency said.
BTOB is scheduled to perform at a music festival at the Nanji Hangang Park in western Seoul on Saturday. The show will go on without Shin.
The band debuted in 2012 and is known for songs like “Way Back Home” (2015), “Remember That” (2016) and “Missing You” (2017). It released its third full-length album “Be Together” in February.
BTOB currently has members Seo Eunkwang, Lee Minhyuk, Lee Changsub, Lim Hyunsik, Shin and Yook Sungjae.
