Boy band g.o.d is discussing plans for a concert with all five members, according to local reports Thursday.
“Members are all positive about the concert,” according to an insider of the group. “They are currently discussing it, but the end-of-the-year concert has not been officially set.”
It has been three years since the band last hosted a concert with all members, which was to celebrate the band’s 20th debut anniversary from November 2018 to January 2019.
The band’s concert was hinted in May when singer and actor Yoon Kye-sang appeared as a guest for SBS radio program “Park Ha-seon’s CineTown.”
“We are all very much talking about it,” Yoon had said. “The most critical factor here is Covid-19, which the members are all concerned about. [But] I also hope that we can do it.”
g.o.d debuted in 1999 with its first album “Chapter 1” and was beloved by domestic fans with hits such as “To Mother,” “Love and Remember” and “Sorrow” in 1999, “One Candle” and “Lies” in 2000 and “Road” in 2001. Consisting of five members — Park, Joon-hyung, Yoon Kye-sang, Danny Ahn, Son Ho-young and Kim Tae-woo — they are also individually active as entertainers, solo singers and actors.
