JW Marriott Hotel SeoulThrough Sept. 30:The Margaux Grill at JW Marriott Hotel Seoul greets the summer holiday season with the Mediterranean Summer promotion, a menu of Mediterranean-style seafood and grilled dishes served in a stunning natural setting, fresh breezes and inspiring city views of the restaurant’s seventh-floor garden.

The six-course promotion menu begins with an amuse-bouche of watermelon gazpacho, a Spanish-style cold soup of watermelon, tomato, bell peppers and olive oil, followed by a Greek salad of succulent prawns, crab, abalone and other fresh Mediterranean seafood dressed in olive oil, and a chicken velouté soup made with richly aromatic chicken stock. An entrée course of grilled blackthroat seaperch, sourced directly from Jeju Island, carefully grilled in a Spanish Josper charcoal oven, and served with Spanish-style tomato sauce, follows. The main course brings a choice of tenderloin or sirloin of premium Korean Woorungchan Hanwoo beef, cooked to perfection in a Josper charcoal oven, while a dessert of two house-made gelati delivers a refreshing final note to the perfect summer dining experience.

The Mediterranean Summer promotion is hosted in JW Marriott Hotel Seoul’s seventh-floor garden, a venue crafted by Olson Kundig, the international architects’ studio renowned for its unique designs incorporating nature. Renowned as an exotic destination offering natural escapes in the heart of the city, the garden features grass, herbs and trees to evoke the ambiance of a European secret garden, creating the perfect setting for a gourmet Mediterranean summer’s journey.

The Margaux Grill’s Mediterranean Summer promotion menu is served at dinner times only and is priced at 200,000 won ($153) including tax and service charges.

“Autumn Voyage” at Grand Josun Jeju at Seogwipo-si, Jeju Island [GRAND JOSUN JEJU]

Grand Josun Jeju Through Nov. 30:Grand Josun Jeju, a luxurious resort hotel brand by the Josun Hotels and Resorts at Seogwipo, Jeju Island, released its “Autumn Voyage” package allowing guests to fully enjoy the beautiful Jeju Island this autumn with their special ones.

The package is comprised of various benefits and attempts to capture every romantic moment in Grand Josun Jeju while guaranteeing a private space for rest.

A one-night stay in a balcony room and breakfast for two per night at Aria are included so that guests can enjoy a variety of menus to start their day with, while overlooking the beautiful scene of the Oreum Garden.

To make the trip more special, Gran JOE, the activity team of Grand Josun Jeju, will take couples' photos in the Oreum Garden and many other iconic spots throughout the hotel. The photo shoot will be up to 30 minutes and is available once during the stay. All guests joining the activity will receive photos in a frame. Per request, this perk can be replaced with a three-hour voucher for a cabana at the Garden Pool.

“Eat2O Pool Side Set” is included in the package and guests can choose one dish from EAT2O’s signature menu, which includes bacon cheeseburger and French fries, pizza and Mount Halla-themed fried rice as well as a chilled beverage.

For guests staying more than two nights, a “Josun Deli Sweet Gift Set” will be provided to help guests relish the tastes of autumn. The set is offered once during the stay and is composed of four pieces of the madeleine, a financier and six macarons, and a to-go Vivente coffee, the signature coffee bean of Josun Hotel.

To celebrate the launch of this autumn package, guests purchasing the package until July 31 will receive a perfume set from Ex Nihilo, a French niche perfume brand. It will be given to the first 100 rooms.

This package runs from Sept. 1 to Nov. 30. Prices start at 410,000 won per night, including tax.

There will be a special event dubbed, “Autumn Melody” every Friday and Saturday for five weeks starting from the third week of September. Musicians will perform on stage in the outdoor Oreum Garden.

Visitors may appreciate music performances at the Oreum Garden on-site or on their terrace.
