(국영문 동시배포) 국립문화재연구원, 이코모스 한국위·전통건축수리기술진흥재단과 업무약정 체결 (8.10)

  문화재청 국립문화재연구원(원장 김연수)은 8월 10일 오전 11시 국립문화재연구원(대전 유성구)에서 이코모스 한국위원회, 전통건축수리기술진흥재단과 함께 『2022 돌·나무·흙 건축문화유산 수리의 보편성과 특수성』이라는 주제로 국제 전문가들이 참여하는 공동연수(워크숍)의 공동 개최를 위한 업무약정(MOU)을 체결한다.
* 이코모스(ICOMOS, International Council on Monuments and Site) : 국제기념물유적협의회-국제적인 문화재를 보호, 보존하기 위해 세워져 세계유산위원회(World Heritage Committee)와 유네스코(UNESCO)의 자문기관으로 활동하는 비정부기구(1965년 창설)-

  공동연수는 건축문화유산 수리의 전문성을 강화하기 위한 의견을 수렴하고, 수리기준의 국제동향과 논점을 공유하기 위한 것으로, 이코모스 이스카사(ISCARSAH) 회장인 괴른 아룬(Grn Arun) 교수를 비롯한 건축유산의 보존과 수리 관련 국내·외 전문가들이 참여한 가운데, 8월 29일부터 9월 2일까지 5일간 서울, 대전, 목포, 군산, 익산, 파주에서 학술세미나와 현장연수회 방식으로 진행될 것이다.
이번 업무약정을 통해 국립문화재연구원은 학술세미나를, 전통건축수리기술진흥재단은 현장연수를 주관하고 이스카사와의 협의는 이코모스 한국위원회가 각각 맡기로 했다.
* 이스카사(ISCARSAH International Scientific Committee on the Analysis and Restoration of Structures of Architectural Heritage) : 국제역사구조수리보존학술위원회 (이코모스의 전문가를 중심으로 유산보호와 관련원칙, 기술, 정책에 대해 함께 연구하고 지식을 공유할 수 있도록 운영하고 있는 국제학술위원회 중 하나)

  이번 국제전문가공동연수의 공동주관 기관인 국립문화재연구원, 이코모스 한국위원회, 전통건축수리기술진흥재단은 각각의 전문성을 살려 협업함으로써 건축유산 보존 및 수리 연구의 경향과 현장사례를 공유하는 장을 마련할 예정이다.

  On August 11th at 11:00 a.m., the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage of the Cultural Heritage Administration (hereafter NRICH; General Director Kim Yeonsoo) signed A memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the ICOMOS Korea and KoreaFoundation for the Traditional Architecture and Technology(hereafter KOFTA) in preparation to co-host the「2022 StoneWoodEarthISCARSAH International Expert Workshop- Scientific Seminar」under the theme of “Universality and Specificity of Architecturaland Cultural Heritage Repairment.”

* ICOMOS(International Council on Monuments and Sites): A global non-governmental organization associated with World Heritage Committee and UNESCO(since 1965) which promotes the conservation and protection of global cultural heritages

  Joining with Professor Grn Arun, the President of ICOMOS-ISCARSAH, both national and foreign experts on conservation and repairment of architectural heritage will gather in Seoul, Daejeon, Mokpo, Gusan, Iksan and Paju for 5 days from August29thto September 2nd. The scientific seminar and the on-site workshops aim to collect opinions as well as to share the current and global issues in order to strengthen the restoration professionality of architectural heritages.
For the successful operation of this international workshop, NRICH is taking in charge of the scientific seminars, KOFTA taking in charge of the on-site workshops and ICOMOS Korea working as the focal point for the general communication with ISCARSHA.

* ISCARSAH(International Scientific Committee on the Analysis and Restoration of Structures of Architectural Heritage): Founded by ICOMOS and is involved in the restoration and care of building heritage as well as sharing related technology and policy.

  Through the cooperation based on each sector’s professionalism, NRICH, ICOMOS Korea and KOFTA aim to provide the platform to share the research results and case studies regarding the architectural heritage preservation and repairment.
