Pakistani solidarity with Kashmiris living in Indian administered Kashmir

Pakistan on 05 August observed the 'Youm-e-Istehsal' (Day of Exploitation) marking three years of the stripping of special status and bifurcation into two union territories of the Indian administered Jammu and Kashmir state in 2019. Government of India divided the state of Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories after scrapping Article 370 of the Indian constitution, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir on 05 August 2019. India and Pakistan have been involved in three wars, two of them over the disputed Kashmir region, that both claimed in its entirety, and several minor conflicts since their independence from the British rule in 1947.
