LG Uplus is solo bidder for 3.4-3.42 GHz 5G frequency sale

LG Uplus solely applied for additional 5G network frequency spectrum while two rival telcos SK Telecom and KT waived as expected. The 3.4-3.42 gigahertz (GHz) range up for sale lagley benefits LG Uplus as it is adjacent to the current spectrum used by the company, but SK Telecom or KT must put up extra facility cost for potential carrier aggregation.
