KT partners with Swift Navigation for ultra-precision location service

South Korea’s telecom giant KT has teamed up with Swift Navigation, a Silicon Valley-based tech firm, to provide ultra-precise positioning service with the significantly reduced error vary of GPS indicators to centimeters from meters. Swift Navigation will offer its precise positioning solutions that will be connected to KT’s reference stations located across Korea. Such ultra-precision location service is vital in future mobility technologies such as self-driving vehicles, as well as unmanned tools, drones, and flying taxis.
