Pre-orders of SsangYong Motor’s new Torres off-loading mid-sized SUV topped 25,000 units as of Monday, exceeding the full-year sales of the cash-deprived car maker’s best-selling model Rexton Sports last year that ranked ninth in the Korean SUV sales ranking 2021. A smash hit was anticipated with the first-day record orders of above 10,000 vehicles.
