FTC okays Kolmar Korea's acquisition of Yonwoo

Kolmar Korea, Korea’s leading custom manufacturer of cosmetics and personal care products, was approved by the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) for its acquisition of No. 1 local cosmetics packaging company Yonwoo. The antitrust watchdog concluded Kolmar Korea and Yonwoo with respective 15% and less than 25% share in each market are not expected to hamper market competition. Kolmar Korea in April purchased a 55% stake in Yonwoo at 286.4 billion won ($216.7 million).
