The police arrested a group of people who ran a swinging and group sex club in Gangnam, southern Seoul. On June 24, the owner and two workers were caught by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency and were charged with facilitating prostitution and could face up to three years in jail or a fine of up to 15 million won ($116).

According to reports, they uploaded tweets and photos which hinted at lewd acts, aiming at approximately a million followers on Twitter. They allowed the participants to have sex or watch, charging from 100,000 won to 300,000 won as an entrance fee.

A total of 26 people, 14 men and 12 women, were reportedly in the club at the time of the crackdown. They were sent home, unlike the owner.

“The guests were having consensual sexual intercourse," police said. "We didn’t arrest them because there is no law to punish them.”
