KT invests $43 mn in cold-chain logistics firm Team Fresh

Korean telco KT transforming into digital solution company invested 55.3 billion won ($43.1 million) in local cold-chain logistics service firm Team Fresh via 11.4 percent stake in new and existing shares to become its second-largest shareholder. KT expects its partnership with Team Fresh to create synergy with non-telecom businesses including logistics, robots, and software as a service (SaaS), the key to its successful digital transformation. Team Fresh, a Korean unicorn with a corporate value of over 100 billion won, will apply KT’s digital logistics technologies and services to its logistics centers.
