The agency of GOT7 member Youngjae in an official statement on Monday denied dating rumors.

The boy band member was recently rumored to be dating singer Lovey. Youngjae’s agency Sublime did not directly mention Lovey, but it did mention that the recent rumors involved a fellow singer.

“The dating rumors surrounding Youngjae are not true,” wrote Sublime in Monday’s statement. “The two are colleagues in the music industry and are simply supportive of each other since they’ve collaborated on each other's albums.”

The agency ended its statement saying, “We will do our best to keep communicating with fans with good content.”

Youngjae debuted in 2014 as a member of boy band GOT7, known for songs “A” (2014), “Just Right” (2015), “If You Do” (2015) and “Hard Carry” (2016). He launched his solo music career in 2021 and recently dropped the EP “Sugar” on June 21.
