Kosdaq biggest and Kospi 4th biggest loser among 43 stock exchanges over last month

Kosdaq was the worst performer among the world’s 43 major stock exchanges, and Kospi the fourth biggest loser, for losses of 14.15%, and 10.29%, respectively, over the last month, according to financial platform investing.com. Second worst performer was Brazil’s Bovespa Index with 11.85% fall, followed by Austria’s ATX with 11.24% fall. In U.S., Dow lost 5.16%, S&P 500 5.93%, Nasdaq 4.32%. But in Asia, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index gained 4.94% and China’s SSE Index 7.01%. While 31 out of 43 major exchanges began to rebound last week, Korean stock markets stayed subdued as leveraged retail investors offloaded shares upon facing margin call from brokers.
