“Beyond LIVE The Movie: SHINee World,” which shows footage of the boy band’s 2021 online concert, will premiere on June 29 at 10 CGV theaters nationwide.
The concert was originally livestreamed on streaming platform Beyond LIVE on April 4 last year. It was the band’s first concert in three years.
Some 130,000 people from 120 countries tuned in for the concert.
The movie will show the band performing 19 of its hit songs including “Sherlock (Clue+Note)” (2012), “Dream Girl” (2013), “View” (2015) and “Don’t Call Me” (2021), as well as some behind-the-scenes footage from the concert.
Since last year, CGV has been collaborating with Beyond LIVE to screen concerts of K-pop acts under SM Entertainment, like SHINee’s Key, Exo’s Kai and NCT.
SHINee debuted in 2008 with the lead track “Reply” (2008) from the EP of the same name. The band currently has four members: Onew, Key, Minho and Taemin.
