SK Group chief Chey to be awarded France's Legion of Honor

SK Group chairman Chey Tae-won will receive the Legion of Honor from the French government for his contribution to the expansion of economic partnership between Seoul and Paris. SK has acquired 70% of French contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) Yposkesi while SK geo centric under SK Innovation joined hands with French waste management company SUEZ and Canada-based waste plastic recycling firm Loop Industries to set up a joint venture to build a chemical recycling factory in Europe. Established by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802, the Legion of Honor is the highest French order of merit for both military members and civilians.
