LG and Guggenheim, a renowned contemporary art museum in New York, will promote convergence between technology and art and sponsor innovative artists in contemporary art sector under “LG Guggenheim Art and Technology Initiative”. Under the partnership, LG will pick one outstanding artist every year to give LG Guggenheim Award with total prize of $100,000 for “groundbreaking achievements in technology-based art,” said LG.
