Yemeni artist Majed Al-Hamdani, and 21 other artists participated in an exhibition presenting over 120 paintings featuring a variety of styles on oil-on-canvas paintings and depicting Yemeni landmarks, the country's culture and its war-affected contemporary life. After the war erupted in March 2015, Majed Al-Hamdani lost his job at an institute and closed his studio in the capital, Sana'a.
