Singer Kang Daniel launched his Japanese fan club “Danity Japan” on Wednesday.
The singer also said he signed a contract with Warner Music Japan, which will manage his Japanese promotions and activities.
A few weeks ago, Kang’s name was listed on the line up of Summer Sonic 2022, Japan’s biggest summer outdoor music festival, much to the delight of his Japanese fans. The festival is slated to held place in Tokyo on Aug. 20 and in Osaka on Aug. 21.
Kang recently released his first full-length album “The Story,” which sold over 316,630 copies in the first week of its release.
Kang debuted in 2017 after winning first place on Mnet’s hit idol audition show “Produce 101.” He and ten other finalists formed the project boy band Wanna One, which disbanded in early 2019. He debuted as a soloist in July 2019.
