After Song Young-gil, the Democratic Party’s candidate for Seoul mayor, and Lee Jae-myung, the party’s candidate for a legislative seat representing a district in Incheon, Gyeonggi, made a joint promise to stop using Gimpo Airport and have all flights use Incheon International Airport in their campaigns for June 1 local elections, residents in Jeju Island fear a decrease in tourists from Seoul due to the longer distance to the airport.
