St. Petersburg Mint issues commemorative badge in support of the Russian Army

epa09981471 A commemorative badge dedicated to Russian soldiers and in support of the Russian Army with the inscription 'Russian soldier - Pride of Russia - We don't abandon our own - For Victory' issued by the mint in St. Petersburg, Russia, 28 May 2022. The badge, weighing 14.5 grams with a diameter of 33 mm, is made of nickel silver and costs 600 Russian ruble (about 10 US dollar). On 24 February Russian troops had entered Ukrainian territory in what the Russian president declared a 'special military operation', resulting in fighting and destruction in the country and a humanitarian crisis.
