BTS is the first Korean artist to host its own radio show on Apple Music, the platform said Friday.
The first episode of the three-segment show titled “BTS Radio: Past & Present” will premiere on Saturday 10 p.m. on radio station Apple Music 1.
A new episode will air each week until June 10.
According to Apple Music, in the first episode, BTS will talk about its musical styles and the songs that have inspired the band.
“We hope to celebrate our ninth anniversary as a band with listeners and fans from all over the world through this radio show,” BTS was quoted as saying by Apple Music. “Every episode is dedicated to them. We want to share the songs that have made us who we are today.”
The show will include songs that are on the tracklist for “Proof,” BTS’s upcoming anthology album set to drop on June 10.
The show is available to Apple Music subscribers.
