K-pop superstar BTS has been invited to the White House to discuss Asian inclusion and address anti-Asian hate crimes in Washington on May 31 in celebration of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders (AANHPI) Heritage Month. In a release Thursday, local time, the White House said President Joe Biden and BTS will discuss “the importance of diversity and inclusion” and “BTS’ platform as youth ambassadors who spread a message of hope and positivity across the world.”
