Samsung Life Insurance CEO Jeon Young-muk visited New York and Boston for four days last week in his first overseas business trip since he took office in 2020. He met senior officials from global financial firms including Blackstone Group’s COO Jonathan Gray and Manulife COO Scott Hartz to discuss market trends and risk management, according to multiple sources from the financial industry Sunday. The main goal of the trip was to restore global financial partnership network and to hire talented professionals from other countries, sources said.
