SK biopharmaceuticals together with SK has invested an undisclosed amount in a Series D funding round in Cala Health, a U.S. bioelectric medicine startup located in California, which in 2019 released an electric signaling device to stimulate the nervous system as a pathway to treat chronic disease, the Korean firm said on Thursday. The investment comes as the Korean pharmaceutical company is on its way to expand its CNS pipeline into digital health.
