LG Uplus jumps into metaverse market with virtual office and zoo platforms

South Korea’s mobile carrier LG Uplus will launch its own metaverse platforms specifically tailored for office workers and children. “U+ Virtual Office” provides the same user experience as in the real office, including chatting, voice and video conversation, and video conferencing. “U+ Kids Zoo” is an AI-based virtual space where kids experience wildlife, including giraffes and tigers. LG plans on the official launch of the platforms next year after limited services to its employees and partner firms.
