South Korea’s SK Group has signed a memorandum understanding with American nuclear reactor design and development engineering company TerraPower to collaborate in small nuclear reactors, which is in rising demand amid global efforts to achieve carbon neutrality. TerraPower’s top executives are visiting Korea this week, reportedly touring SK Group’s major power and petrochemical production sites.
